Engr Chief Meshach Congo Maichibi (FSM), the Asset Manager in a Multinational Oil and Gas Company, Director Chief Mikailu Maichibi Foundation (CMMF), also, Director MNS Resort, came first place out of four nominees shortlisted for the prestigious award.
He was nominated based on his remarkable achievements as a thoroughbred technocrat. The Philanthropist has over the years contributed immensely in job creation, sports development, women and youth empowerment, investment in hospitality and tourism, mentorship, and support for the less privileged in the society.
Amongst the past winners of the Plateau Man of the Year Award are: Amb. Yahaya Kwande, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, Her Excellency Dame Pauline Tallen, Hon. Chris Kwaja, PhD, Hon. Beni B. Lar, Nde Dauda Wuritka Gotring, Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase and Sir. Joseph Ntung Ari, respectively.
The Plateau Man of the Year Awards which was instituted nine (9) years ago, seeks to recognise individuals who have positively impacted the lives of Plateau citizens and the State as a whole, in their different chosen careers.
